laboratory for serum chemistry, complete
blood counts, internal parasite
screening, canine heartworm disease,
Lyme, Ehrlichia and Anaplasmosis
screening, urinalysis and cytology as
well as full radiology capabilities and
access to board-certified radiologist
for review of x-rays and for diagnostic
ultrasound.

Surgical Services
Clear Lakes Animal
Wellness offers the following surgical
services: Elective spaying and neutering
and soft tissue surgery including tumor
removal.
All surgical
patients receive pre-anesthetic
diagnostics, pre-emptive pain control
and intraoperative monitoring.
Pre-anesthetic diagnostics help assess
your pet's ability to process and
eliminate the anesthetic he or she is
given. These
tests help to confirm that your pet’s organs are
functioning properly or can reveal
health conditions that would put your
pet at risk. Our ultimate goal is the
health and well-being of your pet.
Animals that appear healthy may be
hiding symptoms of a disease. If pre-anesthetic
bloodwork displays normal
ranges, we can proceed to surgery with
the knowledge that
your pet’s anesthetic risk is minimized.
In addition, these tests provide
baseline levels for your pet and are a
vital addition to his or her medical
